PRIVATE TIME IN THE SECRET PLACE

 

The Secret Place, what is it...why is it a secret?

The secret place is the "spot / location"  that you go to be alone with God.  The private meeting place that you and God connect and communion.  

It can be in a car, a closet, outside on a walk, at the beach, poolside, hiking trail.  Any place you go where it is just you and the Father talking or not.

We are condition to think we have to have some fancy place where we have to be with our bible's and / or down on our knees and we do all the talking, when in reality that is truly far from it.

Time spent in the secret place should not have an agenda, it's where we rest in God and talk to him.  

Telling Him all about everything that concerns you, whether its all about you, family, friends, health, job, nation, world...whatever is on your heart or mind, talk to Him about it, but don't spend all the time talking, truthfully spend more time, praising and listening.

You are probably saying, listening, what am I listen for.

When we have matured enough to go to the Secret Place, that means we have developed and cultivated a relationship with God enough to know that through the Holy Spirit God speaks.

If you have not creating a routine, a set time and place to meet with God daily, make it a priority, move everything back so you have time to spend in His presence and see what good things come from your alone time.

I pray that you will cultivate a time of aloneness with the one true living God.
