REST LIKE JESUS

Rest Like Jesus 

Yes, you can.

The storm was brewing,  the waves were crashing against the boat and the disciples were in a panic.

Jesus...our Jesus was too on the same boat that His disciples were on.  He was on the boat with the crashing waves. He was on the lower deck....sleeping 😴.  

 Yes, He was sleeping. He was at peace and secure because He knew what the outcome was.   He already made a declaration...we are going to the other side.

So, if Jesus could sleep during a storm, and if we profess to be followers of Jesus Christ,  then we must get to this place of rest.

Life can be hard sometimes,  it can hurt and cause fear to an incredible degree, however,  the Jesus,  the God I choose to follow and serve is higher and greater than anything the enemy throws our way.

I have learned that I must lay down beside Jesus and rest.   He already said we ARE going to the other side...not, we are going to try and get to...no He said we ARE.  

In my Bible study this  week...we spoke on this very thing...

Since I met Jesus,  I have come to realize there are NO such things as coincidence....little did I know I was going to need to be reminded of this very thing and apply it. Winds are beginning to blow....but just like Jesus did...he rebuke them and commanded them to be still.

I too am commanding the winds that are blowing in my mind...doubt, fear, questions about promises to be still.

I am no longer going to be told "oh ye of little faith".  I have seen the hand of God move mightily of late and I will not allow another storm to undo what has been done....

When the Lord gives you a promise...REST...on that promise. 

If you haven't begin to build your house on THE rock foundation of Jesus and know the storms will come, but your house will not fall...the ROCK OF JESUS is a solid foundation....look at it like this ..to get a visual...go read again the story of the 3 pigs...😉

When the disciples cried out to Jesus and woke Him up...Jesus got up and said to the storm....
