TRUSTING IN THE LORD

Trusting in the Lord

Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.[a]

We have heard this a thousand times but maybe we need to hear it a thousand more.  This very scripture can cause movement or delay in what we are believing and trusting God for.

We must get the very meaning deep down in our souls.  We can not just say I trust God, we have to say I TRUST GOD, with every fiber of our being.

We have to stand aside and let God be God....we must give Him full and complete access to every area of our life...leave nothing private, but the truth is....God knows everything so you are not really hiding anything, but God is a gentleman He will not come into an area He was not invited in to work.

We all probably have an area that we struggle in and you haven’t spoken to anyone about this area because it’s private, and truthfully it’s no ones business, right?  But you should allow God total access so you can walk in peace.

How do we know if we are not giving God complete access to things....well, how long has this thing been an issue for you?  How long has it been heavy on your shoulders, heart, mind, spirit, that’s how long you have kept God from complete access.

Surrender that thing today...lay down your doubt, unbelief and fear....give it over to the way maker and watch a way be made.

When we give God complete access we have freedom; the scripture says where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom...

Isaiah 43:16-19 Amplified Bible (AMP)
16 This is what the Lord says,

He who makes a way through the sea
And a path through the mighty waters,
17
He who brings out the chariot and the horse,
The army and the mighty warrior,
(They will lie down together, they will not rise again;
They have been extinguished, they have been put out like alamp’s wick):
18
“Do not remember the former things,
Or ponder the things of the past.
19
“Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing,
Now it will spring forth;
Will you not be aware of it?
I will even put a road in the wilderness,
Rivers in the desert.

2 Corinthians 3:17 New International Version (NIV)

17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Lets us choose this day to walk in complete freedom by Trusting the Lord in all things.  Leave no secrets between you and the Father.
