Healing from the EMOTIONAL HURT

5 But He was hurt for our wrong-doing. He was crushed for our sins. He was punished so we would have peace. He was beaten so we would be healed.

So many of us walk around with a mask, pretending they are just fine, all is well, but the reality is they are broken and hurt for things in their lives, past and present events have taken hold and have cause tremendous hurt.

Many do not even realize this, but sadly many do.  It is time for the unveiling and for healing.  Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is the healing balm.

Surrender all of your emotions to Him...anger, sadness, depression, jealousy, envy, bitterness, backbiting, rejection, abandonment, hatred, covetousness, hurts, confusion, whatever the hold the enemy is tormenting you with, surrender it to Jesus.

These things were not meant for you to carry.  If it does not bring you peace, it is just not your portion...your place to carry it.

God sent his son, Jesus to die on the cross for us, and all of our sins (iniquities)...so that we can live the abundant life, filled with peace, joy, LOVE, patients, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, kindness.

Galatians 5:22-23 New International Version (NIV)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

The heaviness of the heart has only one culprit, he is the enemy that walks around on earth looking for who he can devour:

2 The Lord said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Then Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming around on the earth and from walking around on it.”​

This is his mandate, this is his assignment, his job, he is doing exactly what he is suppose to do, we can not allow him to continue to do his job so well.  We have to raise up and let God do his job.

John 10:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

We have identified the enemies job now we need to understand the job Jesus came to do.  We should not be so willing to let the enemy be so successful in his assignment.

You ask how are you letting the enemy be so good in his assignment?  Easy by not resisting, by being willing and allowing him to dictate how we feel, how we live, to get into agreement with his lies.

Relationships should not be taken lightly, our bodies should not be given away freely, it is a temple we should treat it as such, our minds and thoughts should be in agreement with what the word says.  Our minds if we are not careful can become the devils playground.

    Be strong in the Lord...Guard your heart....from it flows the issues of life.

     Psalms 4:23...NIV

      Above all else, Guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
