Brokenhearted

Psalm 34 v 18

The Lord is close to the Brokenhearted

We have all had our heart strings tugged on or even broken.  The Lord himself has felt this type of pain.

Rejected, abandon, mental and verbal abuse, not from strangers, but loved ones.

Let's be honest, if it were from strangers it would not have penetrated in the least bit...our response would be
whatever, they have no place in my life, why would I allow someone to speak into my life that has no relevance, but
when it comes from the hand of someone who you are in relationship with, family, i.e father, mother, sister brother, spouse, child, close friend it can cause internal, emotional damage.

This is where we turn to the one who is closer than a brother.  Our Father in Heaven.

As Psalms 34 v 18 says, The Lord is close to the Brokenhearted.

He knows the depth of our pains.  He, too was brokenhearted.  But He pushed through to show us we can heal.  He promised us, that He will never leave, nor forsake us.  Our healer...Jehovah Rapha

When the world spews its venom, He is there to shield us, comfort us, with gentleness, warmth, love, protection, understanding and a way to go on.

He will guide us into relationship with Him, simply by being there.  You will never be alone, even when your "Loved Ones" have left you.

Do not be quick to dismiss your Loved Ones, this is when you begin to pray fervently for their salvation.  Why should we pray for them, at all, after the way they treated us.

Let's be clear in knowing we wrestle not against flesh and blood (not the person), but the spirit within them (we have an obligation to save our loved ones souls), but against the principalities of this dark world.   Ephesians  6 v 10

This is the great commission.  Go and make disciples...Matthew 28 v 16-20

Do not get into a worldly mindset of dismissing them from your life...no, just the opposite needs to occur.  We need to get into agreement with what the word says and pray for their salvation so they will live a full life and make it to GLORY!

In Jesus name...Amen
